Establish an implementation oversight group

It is recommended that you establish an implementation oversight group before the launch. This may have different or additional membership from the development oversight group and governance structure. Key functions of the implementation oversight group include:

  • Providing advice on the development and delivery of the implementation plan
  • Engage key stakeholders in implementation
  • Agree and monitor progress and milestones for implementation
  • Agree the impact evaluation plan
  • Facilitate alignment of decision support with related initiatives and collaboration where possible
  • Ensure that roles and responsibilities for implementation are clearly defined and recognised
  • Identify and recommend actions to address any risks to successful implementation
